The Purpose of the Alliance
The single purpose of the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance is to strengthen the economy of the New River Valley by recruiting new businesses to the region. High quality new businesses bring an expanding tax base, capital investment and new job opportunities to our region - key drivers in a healthy economy. Recruiting appropriate new businesses also has the effect of providing a compensating balance in the event of loss or reduction in the existing membership of the region's bueniess community.
